We are currently seeking an exceptional professional to join us as Regional Operations Manager

The Operations function is responsible for all of the material handling processes from the point of goods receipt of the product, through to delivery to the customer; ensuring that customer service, quality, and business requirements are met to the highest standards.
We develop operational plans to deliver the products with optimal efficiency and best practice within the function, supporting the business to meet its strategic goals. We lead Operational improvement activities within each region, ensuring compliance to key company processes, standardisation and driving operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities:
• Lead, develop and performance manage the functional teams at each site within your regional responsibility, ensuring the operational performance supports the needs of the company strategy.
• Develop a load v capacity plan for the Operations function to include, resource, training and capability requirements.
• Improve the operational performance for each site within your region, by identifying key areas for continuous improvement, to then lead and sponsor the projects to deliver sustainable improvements in Quality, Delivery and Costs.
• Contribute to the development of functional strategies and flow down through policy deployment to each site Operations Manager, to ensure alignment of the company goals through to individual objectives.
• Take ownership of, improve and drive strict adherence to the PEAR 5 policy and procedures.
• Cast the right leadership shadow by complying with all relevant internal rules, policies, and procedures; including those relating to Health and Safety, Data Protection, and all those contained within the issued Employee Handbook and Policies and Procedures Manual.
• Be the driver for leading change within the sites and driving a positive culture.
• Undertake other duties and tasks that may be allocated that are appropriate to the job, including deputizing for the Operations Director when appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
About You:
• Business Management Qualification or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in large-scale Warehouse / Logistics management
• Extensive people management and leadership experience
• Significant experience leading and implementing improvement activities
• Detailed knowledge and expertise within function and some cross-functional business process knowledge are required.
• Strong communication skills
• Good presentation skills
• Change management skills
• Project management skills
