Inspection Manager


We are seeking a Inspection Manager for our location at our Longbridge Lane office, Derby.
Key Responsibilities

As an Inspection Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the Inspection team’s performance, specifically: achievement of product throughput and prioritisation, stock room management, process adherence, process and equipment. Duties will include:

· Oversee and guide day to day activities to ensure the team delivers high levels of
process adherence regarding all inbound and outbound material.
· Review and approve product acceptance documentation as defined and authorised by customer to ensure quality andcustomer standards are achieved.
· Support inspection team with expertise as required
· Support technical vet and contract review processes to determine inspection
capability requirements of new parts.
· Conduct and attend regular team meetings to review performance and update
current progress against operational targets


· HNC/HND in engineering discipline or equivalent
· Experience within Aerospace / Automotive manufacturing company
· Significant experience in interpreting engineering drawings & specifications
· Significant experience in metrology from hand held equipment through to CMM programming
· Working knowledge of AS9102 and First Article Inspection Reports
· Experienced in leading and developing a team of inspectors / technicians
· Good communication skills
· Good knowledge of Measurement System Analyse
