Quality Engineer


We are seeking a Quality Engineer for our location at Longbridge Lane, Derby.
Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer you will undertake problem resolution, audits and/or corrective action to improve internal quality or supply chain performance whilst providing technical support to the organisation by resolving product or process queries from the supply chain, operations or customers. Key accountabilities include:

• Expediting containment and problem resolution to ensure all issues are quickly and
robustly managed with minimum disruption to Incora and Customers.

• Resolving technical issues through knowledge of customer specifications and
requirements and Incora and/or supplier processes.

• Apply quality improvement tools to problems to maximise the learning and
improvement opportunity from all problems.

• To verify corrective actions (at source whenever possible) to confirm robust fix and
compliance to process.


• HND / HNC or (NVQ 3 with relevant experience) in
mechanical or manufacturing engineering

• Significant experience in problem resolution / root cause analysis

• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications

• Some experience of working within an automotive or aerospace industry

• Lead Auditor qualified (desirable)

• Sigma or Lean accreditation (desirable)

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Good presentation skills
